The right gloves for the job
The third video of the SafetyOn hand injury awareness campaign focuses on the importance of wearing protective gloves to help prevent hand injuries. Risks to your hands are all around you at work. Every day, you are likely to be exposed to sharp objects, heavy equipment, electricity, oil, grease and a range of chemical substances and cold working conditions. Different types of gloves are available for carrying out certain tasks. Before starting a job, you must check which type of gloves you’ll need. If you don’t have them, don’t perform the activity.
